Huge Sigh....

Congratulations to the Thompson's who have the internet again! I am sitting in our little office looking out the window (It is a beautiful day)! We absolutely love our new house! Morg and I bought a little townhouse in the WVC. It is 3 bedroms and 2 1/2 baths. It is so weird to have so much space and also to have an upstairs. It is just perfect for our little family of 2 and has room to grow. Close to the freeway which Morg needed because he spends most of his time at the U of U. We have not been to our ward yet. This sunday will be our first time...I am kind of nervous.
I am just the happiest little homeowner! The day we closed I asked Morgy to make a stop at home depot. I was going to buy myself some paint. I started small and painted my 1/2 bath which is also my laundry room. (Yes..I have my own washer and dryer) I ripped down the mirror (When I say me I mean Morg) had my cute brother hang a new light fixture I got from IKEA. And painted away! I think it is super cute and it is was so fun! That is the only room that has color so far. I really need to work on my patience because I just want to go out and buy everything I want to make it more us. Money kind of gets in my way! Morg told me to make a wish list and he said he would make sure I got at least 1 thing every pay period. Isn't he the best little husband!
Anyway...I am loving our little home! I will be taking some picture this afternoon and posting. Cant wait to share them with everyone!

Blog Spotlight

Even though we still do not have the internet (I am at Morgys work) I thought I would do another spotlight.
Kelly....
Today I would like to spotlight my cute upstairs neighbor Kelly. Well for the last two years she has been my upstairs neighbor. Driving home today I was a little sad thinking that I have no idea what she is doing. Kelly and her husband Matt have become our very good friends! We always tease Morg and Matt that they are having a bro-mance.
Kelly is the sweetest person and would do anything for anyone. She is a wonderful wife and mother. She has the two most beautiful kids Rachel and Conner.
From the second I met Kelly I knew that we would become friends. I think it was our love for Big Business that brought us together.
Kelly I am really going to miss living underneath you and your cute little family. Thanks for always being there for me and getting excited over the little dumb things that happen in my life.
I Love You Kelly Stubbs!

Blog Spotlight

I thought this would be a fun idea. Especially because it is February and the theme for this month is Love. I thought I would randomly pick someone who is on my link list and share something about them. So check back often to see if you are spotlighted. (I am hoping this will really increase my blog views!) I am really going to try to do this everyday...we will see how it goes.
Kim---
I thought only appropriate that I start with Kim. Because lately Babies and Adoption have been on my brain 24-7. Kim was my first caseworker at LDS Family Services. (I am now on my third...Something must be wrong with me)
Anyway...The first time we went to LDS Family Services was for an orientation. We were sitting in the room and slowly one by one the caseworkers were coming in. It was me and Morg and another couple. Well the other couple looked like the two most happiest people I have ever seen. I never saw a smile leave the guys face the entire time. Anyway---for some reason I was having very mixed feelings that day. Well in walks pregnant Kim! I turned to Morgan and said, "I really hope we dont get the pregnant one." You need to understand that I was coming from a very bitter place. I didnt know how I was going to handle a pregnant women helping me with our adoption process. Well sure enough Kim was our caseworker.
The time Kim and I had together was very short. She did all of our interviews and helped us with our Home Study. Sitting in her office during our interviews I felt the spirit so strong! I knew what we were doing was the right thing!
I am so grateful that Kim helped us start this process. I am so grateful that she helped the Lord confirm to me that this is what I should be doing.
Thanks for everything you did on our behalf Kim! I miss you and wish you would at least work enough to be our caseworker! :) (I am so selfish)

Photo Tag

I actually was not tagged for this one but I thought it was really fun so I am taking it...
Here's the game:
1) Go to your picture folder, or wherever you store your photos on your computer
2) Go to the sixth folder and pick the sixth picture
3) Post it on your blog and tell the story that goes along with the picture
4) Tag four friends to do the same

Well this picture is AWESOME! It totally worked out to be a totally hilarious picture! This is my Dad! We were camping at Current Crick, I think like 2 summers ago. Anyway I took this picture because I was cracking up what my Dad had on. His cut-off sweats and hiking boots make his legs look hot! I think he was coming back from brushing his teeth. That was a really fun weekend!
Here are a couple more pictures of that weekend! I would have included my Mom in these pictures but she would kill me if I posted them. And Mom if you don't know remember why..I will gladly remind you! Love Ya!

This is Morgan and I....We thought we were funny!

This is my brother Zac....walking back from taking care of some business! He had some pretty sweet tan lines!

This is Levi and his really dirty dirty feet! Who wears flip flops in the wilderness....Still to this day Girls Camp has made me terrified of ticks!

My cute hubby! His allergies were killing him. He woke up that morning and his eyes were almost swollen shut! I am such a nice wife to take his picture!

This is Megan and Levi pretending to sleep in the hammock! They are such posers! Megan wanted this FAKE picture!

I now tag....
Bekah, Cassie, Chrisite and Megan
