My day started yesterday at 3 in the morning! I woke up with the worst pain I have ever experienced in my back. I woke Morgan up about 30 minutes later when I realized this was not a muscle ache this was extreme pain internally! It scared me because I have never had anything like that happen to me. I was crying hysterical and asked Morgan to please take me to the ER. Thanks honey for running that red light and going so fast, Don't worry there were no cars on the road at that gastly hour. At least I know that one day when I am in Labor he will get me there quick! I was then seen by a Dr. then a RN who for THREE attempts tried to start an IV to give me fluids and pain meds. After the third attempt he checked with the DR. to see if they could do the CT Scan without. THANK HEAVENS!! I was afraid if he stuck me one more time I was going to stab him. Got the CT Scan (totally new experience) and it was confirmed that I had kidney stones! Gave me some pain meds and an antibiotic and sent me home to drink as much water as I could. Got home just in time to get ready for our friend Erica and Ambers wedding. I felt a little odd going to the temple on pain killers. But I was very grateful because with the help of those and my hubby I was able to make it through the whole day! Now I am packing for Florida..We leave tonight! And with a couple more kidneys stones in my kidneys still to pass...I hope those little guys wait until we are back. Special thanks to my Hubby Morgan..I love you! And to the two best neighbors we have ever had, Matt and Kelly...Love you both!!

Oh no, I am sorry Brittney! I have "multiple" kidney stones in both kidneys, but only have pain in my kidneys--I haven't actually ever passed one--the doctors wouldn't even tell me how many I had! They were amazed at the number though, so that sucks. It gives me plenty of problems, and I'm not looking forward to passing one! (I've come close before--like to the point where I want to run to the ER as well, but Dillon gave me a blessing and it stopped!). Good luck with those and I hope you don't pass anymore while you're gone!
Oh my! I hope you are doing well, and are able to enjoy your trip to Florida! I heard somewhere once, from a Dr. I think, that the closest way to explain labor pain to a man was to have him experience kidney stones...... I dunno, I've never had them. Either way, you should be set for the future! ;)
Best of luck!
Yuck!! I have kidney stones, but haven't passed one...yet. No fun. I hope your trip was fun though. I'm jealous.:)
Miss Brittney-
Oh my goodness, I have found you! You have no idea how many times I have thought about you over the years & wondered how your life with Morgan is. I'm happy to hear you two are still blissfully married, and saddened to hear about your infertility struggles. You're really brave to blog about it. I hope we can at least be blogging friends. Check out my blog, and maybe we can get together for lunch some time. Brit, formerly known as Brittneye:)
I wasn't sure if I should respond to your comment on my or your page, so I decided to come here. Yes please, let's hang out! This weekend is kind of crazy with it being Memorial Weekend. What do you think about meeting at The Cheesecake Factory on Tuesday. I'm free for lunch or dinner.
