Blog Spotlight

I thought this would be a fun idea. Especially because it is February and the theme for this month is Love. I thought I would randomly pick someone who is on my link list and share something about them. So check back often to see if you are spotlighted. (I am hoping this will really increase my blog views!) I am really going to try to do this everyday...we will see how it goes.
Kim---
I thought only appropriate that I start with Kim. Because lately Babies and Adoption have been on my brain 24-7. Kim was my first caseworker at LDS Family Services. (I am now on my third...Something must be wrong with me)
Anyway...The first time we went to LDS Family Services was for an orientation. We were sitting in the room and slowly one by one the caseworkers were coming in. It was me and Morg and another couple. Well the other couple looked like the two most happiest people I have ever seen. I never saw a smile leave the guys face the entire time. Anyway---for some reason I was having very mixed feelings that day. Well in walks pregnant Kim! I turned to Morgan and said, "I really hope we dont get the pregnant one." You need to understand that I was coming from a very bitter place. I didnt know how I was going to handle a pregnant women helping me with our adoption process. Well sure enough Kim was our caseworker.
The time Kim and I had together was very short. She did all of our interviews and helped us with our Home Study. Sitting in her office during our interviews I felt the spirit so strong! I knew what we were doing was the right thing!
I am so grateful that Kim helped us start this process. I am so grateful that she helped the Lord confirm to me that this is what I should be doing.
Thanks for everything you did on our behalf Kim! I miss you and wish you would at least work enough to be our caseworker! :) (I am so selfish)

What a fun idea! I hope it helps increase your traffic.
One other way to increase traffic is to comment like crazy on other blogs!
Good luck!!

So so sweet. I can't beleive that I was the first spotlight. So flattered. And by the way there is nothing wrong with you, its just the way things go at LDS Famiy Services. I know that you have Maryanne now though because I talked to her. You will really like her. Keep me posted on how things are going. By the way, IF I could just be YOUR caseworker I would totally work again.

What a fun idea! I am sure most people wouldn't want the preggie caseworker either. Tee hee.
